We have adjusted the signup form to make it much easier for artists outside the US to sign up with BlastMyMusic. We still need to update the Finance page so that it is simple to use for artists outside the US.
Edit: The Finance page has now been updated.

If you have pulled down the account type drop down at the top right of our site lately, you may have noticed a new addition. That’s right, we have added Label accounts!
If you are a record label in need of simplified digital distribution management for your artists, BMM has got an account for you!
For details, click on the brightly colored word “Contact“.

It’s not much, but we have extended the login sessions to an hour in length. Those of you who are on dialup will have an easier time uploading your MP3s (if you get an error at least you will see it without being logged out).

Congratulations, world. Your inhabitants can now purchase music directly from their favorite artists without regard to country of origin (Country must have valid Paypal access…sorry Kazakhstan).
Advanced International Artist functionality is on its way and will be here before you can pronounce the name of the current Kazakhstany President.

For those artists who are “album only” inclined, we’ve just added a feature that we think will create goodwill and cause celebration among family and friends.
We call it the “Album Only” option, a highly technical term that breaks down phonetically to reveal that if an artist wants to sell an album as a whole only and not as individual tracks, they are now empowered to do so with the click of a button on the music tab of their profile under “add album”.
We are constantly accepting, utilizing, and integrating feedback from artists and customers. If there is something you’d like the site to do, contact us and let us know so we can work on it.
Love,
BMM

Once again, BMM banners are raising eyebrows and bringing other advertisements to their knees.
If you’ve got a purevolume account, you’ll probably see one or more of the ads. They are mesmerizing.

GarageBand.com now features BMM advertisements. Very, very attractive advertisments. Advertisements that are so attractive, other advertisments are ashamed to be seen next to them. I don’t blame these other ads, it’s not their fault.

BMM is very excited to announce our new program. We call it the Industry Affiliate Program, and we have a reasonable expectation that, if used correctly, the IAP could essentially end war, hunger, and bring about an era of peace and prosperity previously unknown to the internet music community.
As an Industry Affiliate, your job is to get artists to sign up for BMM accounts. As compensation, you will earn a commission on every song sold by artists who sign up as a result of your efforts. World peace doesn’t seem so far away now, does it? There are more details, and if you would like them, use our contact form and select “affiliate” as the subject. Our friendly staff will promptly reply. And remember, with great power comes great responsibility, use your new IAP account wisely.
