Variable Pricing!

May 10th, 2007

We’ve had this in mind for a while now, and are excited to officially introduce it to the service. Now you can set the price for your songs and/or albums separately, and still get 65% from every sale. We’ve also changed the “Songs Sold Today” on your overview page to read “Orders Today”, so if you’ve noticed the numbers in that box are smaller than they were, it’s probably because your fans are buying your records now instead of individual songs, which means you are probably making more money, which is the reason why we’re here. Enjoy.

MusicBlaster Lite!

April 20th, 2007

Yes, great music without the aftertaste! Copy and paste your MusicBlaster Lite anywhere image links are accepted. Here’s what we’re telling people:

(Los Angeles, CA) The brains behind the exciting artist-centered site, BlastMyMusic.com, have developed a new tool to assist artists and fans who use multiple music sites on the web. The “MusicBlaster Lite” now functions as a link from other artist-centered sites, such as Purevolume and Virb. Once the consumer clicks on the “MusicBlaster Lite” application, they are taken directly from the alternative site to their chosen artists’ store at BlastMyMusic.com. Instantly, fans and fellow rockers will be able to purchase music easier than any other similar location on the web. BlastMyMusic now allows for direct credit card payment in addition to Paypal, which was the only previously offered transaction mode.

Teaming up with other artist-centered sites such as Purevolume and Virb allows BlastMyMusic.com to continue offering the most beneficial and cost-rewarding promotion option for indie-bands and artists on the web. Always innovative, BlastMyMusic.com has set the pace again for keeping the artists’ needs to the forefront of their business model. “Our focus from the beginning has been to enable artists to sell their music to the largest audience possible, the MusicBlaster Lite brings us a few steps closer to that goal,” says Fellure.

Blaster 2.0

February 9th, 2007

I’ve heard rumors that the MusicBlaster will be getting a face lift soon. As The President, I feel it is my responsibility to find out if there is any truth to these rumors.

If you have suggestions as to what you’d like to see or what you’d like the MusicBlaster to do next, let me know. When I confront our programmers, I’ll use your suggestions as a shield against any technical language they may try to throw at me. They’ve got a lot of abbreviations at their disposal, so send me your comments by clicking on the shiny word or just leave a comment.

Finance Pages Are Now Uniform

February 3rd, 2007

Who says that you have to be unique to have style? BlastMyMusic doesn’t think so. In fact, we decided to update all of our Finance Pages so that no matter what kind of account you have with us (Artist, Affiliate, Label, etc.), you will be able to always enjoy the comforts of familiarity when you request your moolah.

Not only are all of our Finance Pages kicking with a slick, albeit, uniform design. We also gave the pages some international flair. That’s right! We have made it easier for all of our friends across the pond to request their money too.

Until next time…

We have adjusted the signup form to make it much easier for artists outside the US to sign up with BlastMyMusic. We still need to update the Finance page so that it is simple to use for artists outside the US.
