Due to severe weather

Our datacenter experienced a power outage that affected our availability for about 3 hours on Saturday night. This is the same storm that is now hitting the northeast. Due to the power outage, the datacenter was running using generator power. Apparently, once the storm had cleared and the datacenter was transferring back to grid power, the transfer back caused a hardware failure that knocked out all power, which was the very thing trying to be avoided by using generators in the first place.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This is an extremely rare situation that was brought about due to weather/power issues.

So, to sum up, for approximately 3 hours on Saturday night, things were rough. We hope this didn’t cause any panic, and were relieved when our systems came back up to 100%. To help ensure this never happens again, we are looking into purchasing our own island (http://www.privateislandsonline.com/caribbean.htm) where we can house our servers without fear of inclement weather (If anyone has a coupon for a 2 acre island in the caribbean, we’ll go halvsies with you).

Just a quick note to say that BMM artist Cassettes Won’t Listen put on an impressive set at the CMJ showcase.  I don’t think I’ve seen one man play so many instruments and blend them together in that style so well.  I think my favorite was the harmonica.  Great set, good times.

BMM’s been available to the public for 1 month!  Thanks to all the artists, customers, fans, etc…who have helped us get so far in such a short amount of time!  We’re here for you and we’re excited to be a part of your team!

If you don’t see your genre available as an option, please let us know so we can add it as an option. We don’t want you to settle for folk/metal/acoustic if you’re really bluegrass/aluminum/hip-hop.
